Panaroma View from Dhamma Pokhara

Welcome to Dhamma Pokhara

Dhamma Pokhara ( The Lake of Dhamma ) is situated near Pokhara, the most popular tourist destination in Nepal. Pokhara can be reached by air (20 minutes flight)  and by bus through scenic mountain view from Kathmandu and Bhairawa near Lumbini (within 7 hours). It is the base to travel to Annapurna Himalayan Range. There is the beautiful Begnas Lake, 12 Kilometer east of Pokhara (on the way to Kathmandu). Dhamma Pokhara is situated on the southern bank of Begnas Lake and enjoys view of the Annapurna Himalayan Range, the mountains with the rural villages and the tranquil lake beneath. Local Buses are available from Chipledhunga, Pokhara to Begnas Taal frequently and takes about 45 minutes. From Begnas Taal buses leave for Karputar Bazaar every hour.

If you go by bus, which takes about 10 minutes, drop off at Sundari Danda. From here you can see the Dhamma Pokhara to your left. Alternatively, you might want to take a 30 minute trek to the center via a route from Deurali.
